The construction of a residential quarter in the settlement of Ilyinskoe-Usovo presented several unique challenges that required specialized solutions. One of the key features of the project was the use of a mobile concrete plant, specifically the Semix-60 model, to provide a consistent and reliable source of concrete for the building process.

The customer has ordered a Semix 60 Capitan mobile concrete plant, which is a high-capacity and reliable unit that is designed to produce high-quality concrete at construction sites. The plant has a production capacity of 60 cubic meters per hour, and it comes equipped with a 150 ton cement silo, which provides ample storage space for the raw materials needed to produce concrete.

A new stationary concrete plant, the Semix 120 Major, has recently been set up in Nizhny Novgorod with the aim of supplying high-quality commodity concrete and concrete mix to the local construction industry. The plant is equipped with advanced technology and a set of equipment for the production of cement silos, allowing it to produce a large volume of concrete efficiently.

Mobile Concrete Plant Semix 60, silo equipment 2 sets

For a construction project in Dolgoprudny, a compact concrete plant, specifically the Semix-20 Kornet model, was ordered. Along with the plant, a 50-ton telescopic silo and a set of silo equipment were also ordered to ensure a sufficient supply of materials for the production of concrete and mortar.

RCC was first developed in the 1970s and has since been used extensively in dam construction and other applications where very strong, durable concrete is required.

5 RCC Plants in Siirt

Turkish giants Limak Holding have chosen SEMIX Concrete Batching Plants for their biggest dam project which is located in Siirt, Turkey.

With durable mixing blade and wearing designs, SEMIX's twinshaft concrete mixers have performed perfectly during the process.

Çetin Dam, which has a hardfill body type of cylinder compacted concrete, 165 m high and body filling volume of 4,900,000 m3, will be the biggest dam in its class in Europe with its body RCC(Roller Compacted Concrete) volume. The dam will also be able to meet the energy needs of 6 Siirt provinces when its completed.

Axis of Rotation

In Twin Shaft Concrete Mixers, each shaft rotates in opposite directions, hence collision between the mixing blades will be prevented. Each shaft rotated by a bevel gearbox which is driven by an electric motor. 

Gearbox & Motor

Electric motors are coupled with a belt-pulley mechanism which is driving the input shaft of gearbox. With their eccentricty gearboxes are providing counter-axis rotation. Output shaft will rotate the main shafts of mixers where the mixing blades located.

Mixing The Concrete

Twin shaft concrete mixer is starting mixing process when materials -cement, aggregate, water, additives - flows into mixing drum. Mixer forms a spiral movement for better homogeneity of concrete. Mixing process continues according to required mixing time for the recipe. With the scraper blades which have been located at the initial and final point of shafts, all of the concrete will be collected and get ready for the discharging process.

Discharging The Concrete

When the required mixing time reached, discharging gate will be signaled from the PLC of concrete batching plant. All SEMIX Twin Shaft Concrete Mixers are equipped with hydraulic discharging gates which provides a high-controlled accurate 3 staged discharging. 3 staged door opening prevents from high concrete accumulation over discharging. 

SEMIX demonstrated its’ twin shaft & single shaft concrete mixers and concrete recycling unit in Bauma 2019 which was occured in Messe München, Germany.

With the high attention from visitors, lots of great feedbacks and demands have received.

The concrete recycling unit “SMRC 10” took most of the attention from the crowd. Eventually it has been sold to the British company and began to perform perfectly by its efficient and simple design.
